BY FAITH MINISTRIES

If this is all I allow you for now, will you still honor me in it?

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness,

goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.

Against such things there is no law.

Galatians 5:22-23

Take a look at the words in white.  I whited these out because at times these are the words we white out in our response to scripture.  Do you really LOVE your brother or sister in the Lord as Christ has loved you? Do you REALLY forgive WHATEVER grievances you have against a brother, wife, husband? Does your response to others never fail?  Do you work, labor and endure?  Think about what the white words mean and pray that our Heavenly Father will bring you more in line with the true meaning of His Word!

Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. (Psalms 63:3)

"You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? (Matthew 5:4)

Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. (I Peter 4:8)

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails....And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.  (1 Corinthians 13:4-8; 13)

"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." (John 13:34, 35)

Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, [13] but he who stands firm to the end will be saved.  Matthew 24:12

Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.  Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.  And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. (COL 3:12-14)

We continually remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ. (I Thessalonians 1:3)

May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else, just as ours does for you.
(Thessalonians 1:6)

If anyone says, "I love God," yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen. And he has given us this command: Whoever loves God must also love his brother.
(I John 4:20)

This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for* our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us. I John 4:10-12

There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. (I John 4:18)
