If this is all I allow you for now, will you still honor me in it?

Meet the Founders of BY FAITH MINISTRIES:

Denise (Dee) Wieninger is the founder and author of BY FAITH MINISTRIES. I have been married to Fred Wieninger for 40 years July (2016). Neither of us were Christians when we married, but were blessed with coming to the Lord over 35 years ago. We are the first to stand up and say, "marriage is NOT easy" but we will go to our death in it as we promised the Lord. We have had our struggles but we "fight the good fight" (sometimes maybe, not so "good") and the Lord blesses us over and over. He is so good!

Fred and I have three children and two grandchildren. All three of our children are growing and serving the Lord and continue to bless us as we all walk this path together. BY FAITH MINISTRIES has been a dream and a vision for over 20 years. Mostly, it has been a personal walk with HIM! Now, looking back and seeing what He has done I can say it's been worth every continued turn!

Kelly Hughes is co-founder of BY FAITH MINISTRIES. She has been married to Rick Hughes for 20 years and they have two beautiful daughters. Since I am writing this I would like to inject some thoughts about our Co-founder, Kelly. Have you ever heard of a "silent partner"? Of course you have. Well, so far she is a silent partner in the truest sense of the word. I'm not sure why, but this girl friend believes in me! I am so blessed to have someone like Kelly who believes enough in me that she helps where she is needed most and then backs off and lets me go crazy. She told me she "didn't care about colors or fonts and to have fun!" Thanks, Kelly for being there to get this project off the ground and undergirding me with help, encouragement and prayer.
Kelly and I came together when I lead a ladies Bible Study and needed a side kick! She volunteered and we were off and running. We both have a love for the Lord and a desire to encourage other women in our walk with Him. We recognized a need for ladies to have a place to go to find understanding and support through the good times and bad in our marriages. (See more on our Web Site Idea on our Home page.)

Marriage is not easy! Anyone who says it is easy has either reached the pinnacle in their Christian walk or they are so compatible it truly is easy for them. But, I would venture to say that many marriages do have their struggles or there wouldn't be so many books out there teaching us how "Venus and Clams" can get along.
God has a wonderful way of allowing us the necessary trials and tribulations to build into each of us...Godly character! Having the best Christian marriage is NOT what it is all about! It's about knowing HIM more and being more like HIM. Fred and I have some wonderful stories to share. I'll do the sharing but Fred recognizes God's Word saying: Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. 2CO 1:3. So if we don't learn from each other's "privilege & opportunities" from whom will we learn them? I thank Fred for allowing me the freedom to share. Please pray that I can always do it in a manor that doesn't harm him and that BY FAITH MINISTRIES can succeed in our goal of always honoring the Lord.
Dee would love to come share her stories and how the Lord continues to bless her life and marriage.  Contact her using the form below.  We look forward to sharing the comfort we ourselves have received!
Thank you so much for visiting this site. We appreciate your comments.  God bless you as you strive with Him to "work out your salvation" and your marriage.

We believe in Jesus Christ, God's one and only Son, our savior

(John 1:14; 1 John 4:9 / John 3:16; 2 Peter 3:18)

Who was born both fully human and fully divine, conceived of the Holy Spirit and the virgin Mary,

Who suffered and was crucified under Pontius Pilate, (Luke 23:1-46)

Who died and was buried, and Who rose again bodily from the dead on the third day,

(Luke 23:44 - 24:8; John 20:24-29; 1 Corinthians 15:3-8)

Who ascended into Heaven and now sits at the right hand of the Father,

(Luke 22:69; Acts 1:1-9; Colossians 3:1) and will return to earth to judge both the living and the dead.
